The I.P. Stanback Museum & Planetarium Collections at South Carolina State University boasts a 40 foot planetarium dome with a Minolta II planetarium projection instrument and an 82-seat auditorium for Planetarium presentations: The planetarium also has a small collection of gemstones and meteor fragments.
The I.P. Stanback Planetarium is located on the campus of South Carolina State University and features Sky-Skan Automation and the NASA Educator Resource Center. Sky-Skan specializes in special effects and automation projectors. TheNASA Educator Resource Center assists educators teachers with information from NASA’s educational resources including demonstrations od educational technologies.The I.P.
